Spending time with friends and family on the water can be some of best and most memorable experiences. If taking on water , is water cold or warm?
Try to avoid going below decks on a flooding vessel, especially if battery's are present and submerged.
Start bilge pumps and emergency procedures
Cold water could mean open communication with the sea.
Warm water: could be a sign of a worn or broken hose off our main engine. If water is warm shutting down the engine should slow or stop the flooding.
Cold water: plug the hole with blanket, extra life jacket or any thing that will slow the flooding. TRUPLUG is a great option.
